fuel cut out

How does a smaller fuel pump save gas? Keeping your FOOT off the pedal saves gas.
Your pump is probably not flowing enough fuel. Do you have a Fuel Pressure gauge or a Wideband?

Wow...

Everyone who's posted in this thread so far needs to do a little research on A: Fuel cut. B: Fuel pump sizes for DSM applications. C: BOOST LEAK TESTING.

Here's something to get you started.

I had the same problem running a 18g at 15psi ,the first thing I changed was my mass air to the gm one ,solved problem for a while ,but then came back ,my air screw some how backed off , put it back to where it should be and problem fixed ,

do you have a wideband because it is very useful when it comes to how much fuel you have going into your engine ,you want it somewhere around 11.2 to 11.4 ,if i,m not mistaken ,I ran a 50 trim with the stock fuel pump at 16psi last year and it didn,t get fuel cut so I would think your pump should be good, also I would check the spark plug gap .

I was running 18psi on a 20g with stock 450cc injectors and didn,t see fuel cut ,but was told to go with 750,s which I have now ,you need the wideband to find out for sure if your leaning out ,$400 bucks is cheaper than a new motor .
