i noticed i'm dripping oil from my exhaust manifold/downpipe from the far right bolt. i pulled the pipe coming off my turbo and seen that there is oil laying in the turbo, I'm thinking that its bad seals in the turbo and its gonna need rebuilt but is there anything else that might cause it.

unless the motor is pushing oil out the exhaust into the turbo thats the only really other way. do a leak down test or sumthing and see if your head gasket is bad maybe its coming from that. but im gunna bet and say if its sitting in the turbo like you said then its prob the turbo

All take it that you have no other problem with the engine so that that will eliminate the engine and other then a bent or clog oil drain line from the turbo I'd say it's your turbo.

After the turbo is rebuilt make the intercooler and IC pipe are clean and oil-free.

if theres a kink in the oil return line it might build up enough pressure to blow back up through the seals

Or he was just boosting too much and the turbo went kaput and he needs it rebuilt

but hey it hapened to me before i even was boosting i was putting my turbo on and i reved it to about 5500 and it just went kaput so i got a 16g instead

but thats just me spend the money and get a 16g they are worth it

i'll check the oil lines over again but i didnt see any kinks in them. As far as to much boost goes, i just got the car running gain, i havent road tested it yet. I moved it about 15 feet in a friends development so i didnt even have a chance to go fast let alone get out of first gear. The head gasket is brand new, BUT i will check over it as well just to be safe

Another thing we think it might be, is we dont have a big enough return line for the oil. We bought one off of ebay, and its kinda small. We looked others up and some are small and some are big. We think because of how big our turbo is its pulling in more oil then it can push out.
