i was wondering if a 1g GST tranny will fit on a 2g GST. Its a mostly stock motor but i have a extra 1g engine/tranny in the backyard and was wondering if the 1g tranny is worth rebuilding so i can just swap the trannys out or have my 2g tranny rebuilt. any advice would be gladly appreciated.

O well thanks guys. i guess i'll have my 2g tranny rebuilt and wait and see if i ever crankwalk, then have my 1g rebuilt when i swap. THANKS EVERYBODY!! :dsm::dsm:

Well I'm really hopeing that my 7-bolt doesn't crankwalk because I havnt had a chance to build up my 6-bolt like I want to. but just in case it does, I want to be prepared to swap everything over to the car back on its feet in as little time as possible. So rebuilding my 1G tranny is just me being prepaired.
