See if your actuator is stuck. I've seen that happen before if your type of situation. If you're lazy (not saying you are or trying to be rude) but you could just buy one (they're pretty cheap) and throw it on and see if that makes a difference. If it doesn't, well every good DSMer has spare parts lying around haha.

Yeah its the actuator most likely. I had the same exact issue. My buddy had an extra wastegate laying around, put it on and problem was solved.

Use a compressor like you would when doing a BLT, pressurize the wastegate via the same vacuum line you have that goes from your boost source to the wastegate. See what pressure it opens at. If it holds up to whatever it's supposed to hold to (I think 8-10psi) then it's working fine.

Do a BLT.

i see. i thnk it might be my wastegate actuator, the only way to be certain is to change it out so i'mma look into buying a new one

No, the way to be certain is to do this:

Use a compressor like you would when doing a BLT, pressurize the wastegate via the same vacuum line you have that goes from your boost source to the wastegate. See what pressure it opens at. If it holds up to whatever it's supposed to hold to (I think 8-10psi) then it's working fine.

Do a BLT.
