i just recently bought a BUNCH of stuff and im trying to make sure ive got everything i need (supporting mods) heres the list of crap i bought and im nervous about putting it on since ive never done more than just the basic bolt on stuff.

ive got a 2G GST that im putting this all on and ive got a injen intake, greddy evo II catback exhaust, HKS SSQ BOV, and im getting 14psi on my T25 with no boost controller (just that boost solenoid mod)

heres the list of parts im itching to put on it but im afraid in doing so because i don't want to blow it up!

evo III 16G, evo III exhaust manifold & o2 housing, tial 44mm wastegate, 1G TB, 660's, 255 walbro fuel pump, SBR braided fuel line, SAFC, & polyurethane motor mounts.

i know i still need the 16G install kit, a AFPR for the 255, and i need to port the 2G intake manifold since the 1G TB is so much bigger. im also going to replace every nut/bolt/gasket while im doing the install so i don't have to go back in there again.

whats going to happen once i bolt all this crap up besides nuke my motor? :toobad:
the garage im doing it all at is just down the highway from the place im going to have dyno tune the thing but if anyone can tell me what else i might need or need to do once its installed that would be great... im probably going to want a boost controller as well so i can put some HP down but im just worried that im going to break my car.

You really need to do some reading and learn before you go throwing a bunch of parts at a car. It's a nice list of parts, but you have no mention of any kind of tuning device or way of compensating for the injectors. Also, how the hell do you plan on mounting a Tial wastegate to a evo 3 manifold or o2 housing? i believe in the initial list of parts i listed a SAFC, thats what i was planning on controlling my fuel to the injectors. :thumb:

i bought the evo III exhaust manny and wastegate used from a local DSMer that already had a flange mounted onto the manifold. (sorry i didn't mention that)

im just afraid of whats going to happen once i install all this stuff...
if anyone has a similar setup that could let me know what to expect that would be great.

i have read up on EVERYTHING and i feel like getting sick ive been going through these forums so much. :barf: i believe i did follow the "build up section" of the dsmtuners site (minus the down pipe and high flow cat) which i can't do since im out here in CA.
im excited to get everything on there but don't want to get stuck in the middle of the install cause i forgot something.

ok first if ## going planning a 16g before you even have a boost controller... you better be ready for some reading up like jking29 said. also something i noticed- you dont mention a dp or some hard ic piping much less any gauges or dataloggers. what kind of boost were you planning on cranking out once you get that in? and just something minor- if your getting a new turbo you better make sure you filter the valve cover breather

i was going for a joe p MBC and running 17psi MAX.
i have a 1G intake manifold that i got with the TB but i can't put that on my 2G head unless i port the runners. :rolleyes: and with my tech knowledge i def. don't feel comfortable doing that!

im not throwing on an aftermarket DP since anything mod forward of the cat is technically "illegal" out here in CA, along with putting a filter on the valve cover breather. i did that awhile back and failed SMOG because i didn't have the soft pipe running from it to my intake.

i would love to throw up a FMIC but don't have the money for it... id be trying to get a datalogger as well so i could watch the engine a little closer. id still have no idea what i was looking at with a datalogger though, even if i did get it all hooked up.WTF and as far as gauges go, i have a boost gauge and the disco light A/F gauge

hey verge, your out here in SD you wanna help do a 16G install in the next few weeks? :D

turboking15- get a 1g manifold??? he is already worried about what hes got. he would have to do some porting on the head for that one
 
come on guys, there has to be someone that can tell me what to expect after i get all these parts bolted up?!?! maybe im worried about nothing but im starting to get to work on this as soon as i get back from MOD '08 which is this weekend and it would sure help if someone had a little bit of advice/help, TIA.
