just blew my head gasket. kinda sucks. plus never had to replace them.anything i should look out for

Not so much just the basics make sure you clean both mating surfaces and never re-use the old head studs.. while there id go ahead and replace everything i could Ie: water pump timing belt pullies tensioner.. ect

i like to bring the head down to the machine shop and have them make sure its not warped or cracked

a buddy of mine has his own machine shop. we are going to get it surfaced there. i already have a new water pump in he car that is maybe a month old. im planning on rebuilding the whole engine since it is going to be apart. jus basically waiting on the $ i guess now is a good time to learn to use my timing gun
