hey guys i have a 97 eclipse NT gs.i was having some issues with one of my injectors i winded up get a hold of injectors from a 96 dodge neon for free i know it was a 2.0 i dunno if it was DOHC or SOHC not sure if it matters? . will they work? there not as fat as the eclipse ones. they are the skinny type.

and if they do work anything i should know? any opinions? :dsm:

The Neon's injectors will only work if your engine in your eclipse is a 420a. If it is a 4g63 they wont work as the 4g63 uses low impedance injectors, and the 420a uses high impedance injectors. There is a "resistor pack/converter" to be able to use 420a injectors on a 4g63 and vise versa but they still wont work properly like the ones made for it do. I

thank you that's all i needed to know! yes i have the 420a i just want to use them as temp replacements until i start building up the motor for boost thanks!

i gave it a shot. on the mechanical side things should work fine. but on the physical side the injectors are just to short. just letting anyone know in case they wondered this.
