I have a 1990.

I finally got my part to fix my megasquirt,
Before that my stock computer blew smoke, but I could still start it up and move it.

I come home. wire up my megasquirt again.

Go to start the car and myy tach is not showing up.

It wont show up on the gauge, or on the MS.

I swapped out 2 coil packs, and a cam angle sensor.

Any Ideas??

Thanks,

Mike

90's get the tach signal from the coil pack, thats why i swapped it out.

But i'll check out the PT

Thanks

Ok I realized I have no spark,
But after I stop cranking, then it sparks.

Maybe that will help for diagnosing?

does the check engine light come on when you turn the key to the on position? Does it go off after a few seconds or stay on?

If it doesn't come on at all, you have an ECU issue.\

EDIT:
UUGHHH.... I have the worst habit of searching through old posts and then leaving my computer. I come back and reply to the thread, not realizing that it is a couple years old. Sorry guys!
