Intercooler pipe size

Guys , I run a 50trim turbo around 24psi
wht would be the best intercooler diameter sizing , 2 inch ? 2.5 ? 2.75 ? 3 ?

I'm running a 50 trim also. I use 2.5 pipe and it works great for me. 3" is a little too big in my opinion. Unless of course you intend on going larger than a 50 trim any time soon. If not stick to 2.5. That's my .02....

The airflow will then do what when it reaches the throttle body? Get necked down to 60mm (2.36")?

Stick to 2.5" piping without a doubt.

If you go 3" then you need a 90mm throttlebody to keep up with the flow 2.5" is 63mm so it works great with our 1g throttlebodys an the 75mm ones.

2.5 is the best way you can go! 3 inch is too big unless you are running very big turbo!
