right now im in the process of building everything and last night when i got the motor all put together i wanted to see if the turbo was even gonna fit with the manifold i got, i got it off ebay, im not against spending a bit of money to get one that works but im by no means rich, but even when i remove the water pipe the turbo hits the block so i was just wondering what manifolds people have used that run that turbo

eBay manifold are guaranteed to crack or split apart especially while the Holset turbo which puts out immense hp.

Usually Holset turbo fit on a standard design manifold fitting. What Holset turbo we talking out and if the eBay manifold tubular or cast and is it design upon standard fittings?

the manifold is tubular and the turbo is an hc1 with a 12mm exhaust housing and it all bolts up just fine , its a t3 flange but it puts the turbo too close to the moter so it wont bolt on cause the turbo hits the block

when you weld it up are you gonna angle it to sit the turbo out farther, cause right no mine wont clear by more than an inch and i dont want to mess with spacing my manifold off the head that far! also i was wondering if i can heat up stainless and bend like cold steel or will it crack

Just use a spacer it worked for me and another member. The other member I'm talking about is using the 12cm housing and a threadstone t3 manifold which is a copy of the turbonetics manifold I'm using. I'm using a 3/8 spacer, but the turbonetics manifold has an angled t3 flange so a 3/8 spacer made a huge difference. If I were you I would order the 1/2" spacer from rre.
