It's located in front of the driver side front tire and well, I don't exactly feel like tracing 15+ wires :p it does have hard lines coming into it from the top...almost brake like...not sure though as I said, I can't find it in my FSM...and no I don't have ABS

no, the car has no abs period. Ran the vin a while back to find out for sure...no ABS at all. And no, no light either. No sensors at the wheels etc etc etc....anyway, thanks for the replies guess I won't worry about those broken wires too much.

oh, and no ABS fuse either in the engine compartment...not just no fuse there, no provisions for one, empty pins.

If the car came with no ABS from the factory then there would be no reason to put an ABS wire there, so it might be there for something else. Don't mess with it and check a service manual and see if you can find what's it there for.

It is for ABS. No matter what the VIN shows, and no matter if there is a fuse for it or not. As to why it's on a car not equiped for it is beyond me. Probably the VIN doesnt match the car or there was a conversion in progress. :/
