I have lots of experience with many different MLS gaskets for different cars, including the GSX... If a MLS gasket is available, then that's what I use.

A little Permatex Spray gasket, an extra smooth head, and you're good for high boost / high compression

*edit I use OEM multi layer Steel gaskets

I used this one, it's probably made by Mitsubishi's Original Equipment Manufacturer

eBay Motors: MITSUBISHI 4G63T 4G63 MLS HEAD GASKET TURBO 1G 14B 16G (item 150262906384 end time Jul-03-08 21:07:32 PDT)

I don't believe this is a Mitsubishi OEM MLS headgasket. It's made by Nippon and the price makes me wonder. I would go with a real Mitsubishi OEM MLS gasket, or even a Cometic. IMO, a head gasket is too important to chance. Just to let you know, I have had the current Mitsu OEM MLS headgasket on my 2g for over 4 years now.

It's amazing that they are constructed exactly the same and are both made in Japan... They look exactly the same... Nippon Racing just advertises the fact that it's Nitride coated (same as OEM)

OEM Volswagen Metal headgaskets are made by Victor Reinz (Mahle/Clevite) but to buy them with a VW symbol costs $90... buy it as a Victor Reinz and it's $30
This is probably the same situation

Agreed. While this is most likely the case, I would still get the Mitsu gasket; for my piece of mind.

Although I haven't seen one in person, I believe the Ralli Art head gasket is also a relabled OEM MLS head gasket
