CAS for 95 gsx

i just got my 95 eclipse gsx and i noticed on the left of the spark plugs where the CAS is at on the 97+ theres a piece there that has a 3 prong hookup but no wire harness in it. the engine was replaced 6 months ago and i was jw wtf it was .

alright so i grabbed a pic of this thing thats unhooked. any ideas?

95-96s have the crank angle sensor below the intake cam inside the head. All other years have the cas on the exterior, passenger side of the head.

yea, is there a way to adjust the timing belt on the 95-96's with it inside?

Adjust the timing belt? Or I'm assuming your talking about adjusting the ignition timing?
Why do you need to adjust it?

yea the ignition timing, im checking it with a light atm. the engine misfires while idle and smells bad. i listened to the fuel injectors with a long screwdriver and piston #1 is almost twice as loud as the other three, it's got a "thud" sound to it. could this be from the injector being clogged?
