And it was a bi*** and a half to get the old rotors off. I'm assuming they were originals. This is how they proceded to come off.

I ended up getting a set of Reman'ed dual piston Calipers off of the The Caliper Shop on EBAY. A set of EBC rotors for a steal. Then just went with some autozone ceramic pads for the time being. Here is the final product!

Needless to say i love the setup! Should of done it earlier!

how much did that setup cost you ### that looks sweet and also where you get them.

All the above here as well.... I find myself outdriving my brakes all too often and have been looking/waiting to get a set of GSX calipers and some good slotted rotors to go with them.

Why not just go with a set of blanks? I have these lying around, along with the RRE SS braided adapter lines and 2-pot calipers. I was all about the GSX upgrade until I got the Evo calipers/rotors in my hands.

But I might rather wait until I can put the Evos on. I want to see the drastic difference between the GST and Evo brake setup. I want the "wow" factor to blow me away.

I got the rotors off of dsmtrader new for $100 shipped. The reman'd calipers i got off of Ebay from "The Caliper Shop" for $135 shipped ( that was with brackets and all the hardware). And there just autozone ceramic pads for $35. So $270 total. I def want to do SS brake lines next. But its an extremely nice setup as is.

I heard that ss brake lines don't do anything to help with braking and actually might make it worse. Any truth to what I heard.

Only if you think a slight loss of sponginess in pedal feel could be "worse". Hydraulics won't be changed by different tubing.

You'll be hearing a lot of things before you're dead. I heard you should disregard 96% of them.
