I am picking up a car that is running on e85 with ss lines and an annodized fuel rail. Was wondering what the wideband should read around with e85 during cruising conditions and wot. Car has an fp18g and it also has link and a fmic with I believe 650s injectors, just wondering so I am safe when boosting and what not.
 
Alright thanks, picked it up yesterday and starting fixing little quirks here and there before letting her rip around. But man this thing is insane with the 18g running around 25psi. Can't wait see get to the track.:):):)
 
So what afr's are you seeing at wot. What is your timing like. I would also like too know how high your IDC's. I would be afraid to run out of injector with that setup. 850's would be the smallest I would run e85 and 25psi out of that 18g.
 
if you have 680s you will definitely be out of injector at 20psi on the 18g.

My 880s were at high 80s IDC on the B16G, be careful
 
Yea, 650's on E85 won't get you very far. Especially on 25+ PSI. You will need larger injectors. One of my buddies has your setup 18g, FMIC, Wal 255, AFPR and a MAFT Gen 2. And he runs 950cc FIC injectors. His idle is a little rough. But you have link and can tune that out. He put down 385AWHP and 365AWTQ at a 12:1 AFR
 
11.8-12.0's your fine. Your car will hover around 14.7:1 at cruise.

Yes, stay between 11.5 and 12:1 AFT at WOT and around 14.7 - 15.0:1 during cruise.

My latest tune is at 11.8 - 12:1 during WOT and i'm able to hold 30psi and 22 - 23* of timing from 3500RPM and up (none of that dropping low and climbing crap like you see on stock ECU's )

Do you have a "Link ECU" or "DSMlink"?

One is a full stand alone and the other is a psuedo standalone/piggyback (but very nice none the less)

This is a LINK stand alone, great ECU with knock sensor ability

This is DSMlink. a very effective simpler system
 
My bad car has 850cc injectors with 272s and it has dsmlink. I am not driving car presently because it needs a new wideband sensor but I will let you know when I get a new one though.
 
I suppose the car was like that when you bought it but with dsm link and e85 I wouldve gone BIG on injectors.
