n/t 1G USDM to JDM 4G63T swap

ok, im in a little trouble with my 92 talon. it was originally a non-turbo FWD talon with a 6bolt 4g63, my friend blew a rod through the top end and cranked my block so i looked up all over the net and from what i got from people i need to buy a jdm engine. well, i picked up a JDM 4G63T 6bolt for $1400 everything included and shipping. got the engine swapped over and when we went to hook up the wiring harness some of the connectors are different (JDM/USDM). I was told it was a bolt in project and its been nothing but a nightmare, please help me. i need to find out what to do form here, need to find some JDM wiring diagrams and i guess go from there. The guy i have helping me is a licsenced auto tech and works with imports everyday. if someone could please send me a private message with help, even if its just simply pointing me in the right direction...


Someone also mentioned something to me awhile ago and said that some 92's and up came with a 7bolt and that may be my problem but if so, i hear of lots of people doing the 2g to 1g swap so what problem do i have...well i dont know if that helps or hinders but just thought id mention it...

did you change the harness from N/T to Turbo? you must change harness or run some wiring if you go from N/T to Turbo. I dont got much knowledge with the JDM motor though.

Correct if you swapped the harness everything should hook right up. What intake are you running?

im using the cyclone intake and ive got 3 wiring harnesses, i n/t usdm, a turbo usdm and a jdm turbo harness
