HKS SSQ BOV help

I just bought the new style HKS SSQ BOV used and I didnt know how to remove the shell to install the recirculation fitting. I see a couple bolts with allen head bolts, but didnt know if that was it. Let me know. Also I installed it to make sure it worked and now my turbo is getting alot of compressor surge. I have a bullseye power vtrim turbo.

Yes those allen head screws is what you use to get the cover off.

And that is not compressor surge. That would be your new sound of your SSQV (This is all assuming you have the newer version where there is no adjustment screw in the back)

well I revved the engine from under the hood and I heard compressor surge coming from my intake not the BOV since I didnt have the recirculation fitting stalled

Is this the adjustable HKS or not?

I have no idea its the HKS SSQ V2. I can check but I dont think it is adjustable

Not sure if this is on point, but you have got to have that thing recirculating. You remove the 4 allen screws just to take the cover off as was said before. Removing them made it easy for me to install it on the flange.
