Different mitsu alt belts?

I did a search, didn't come up w/ anything. Are both of these alt belts for a 97gsx?

Both were given to me from the dealership, and both have the mitsubishi logo on them. The 1st belt was all chewed up after 4 months, so I bought a new one. The 2nd belt seems to have bigger ribs. Just wondering if they maybe gave me a 1g belt the first time. Part # doesn't match the ones in the vfaq.

MD310616 is for USA use according to my CAPS program at work. That is for 2G AWD turbos. The other part number is also valid, but is used if you aren't hooking it up to the a/c.
