It's not mine it's one I'm looking at buying which is why I am asking if it could be a reliable DD cause that's basically what I need.I used to have a 2G but I was 16 so didn't know anything about it. I have a 3G now and want to get back in a 2g It's putting out around 270whp.

VERY nice car. And yes...easily DD it. Just make it is tuned nicely and all wearable items are up to par and have fun with it. 270whp is a nice fun car.

270whp is a little low for the mods that that are listed, I have most of the same stuff minus the cams, just ready my profile... Ask the guy what boost the car is tuned for, but otherwise that is one fine DD!

It's tuned for 19psi on pump. On C16 it made over 300whp

That looks exactly the way I want my car to look one day. From that newer style Mitsu logo on the front bumper to painting the center piece in the back black and putting on silver Eclipse letters. Good to know it'll look good.

If it idles good with those cams (you didn't list size) go for it.

Do a compression check , for peace of mind, be foolish not to.

19psi and 270whp sounds close...remember not all dynos read the same.

Anything can be a DD if you really want to make it that. But wow that things is just gorgeous!

Is DD including gas prices these days because I think cars that were once DD-able are crossing the line now esp. in CA...Other than stupid gas prices; great looking car with a very fun street setup!

There's a lot of us with way more than that and we depend on them daily to get us to and from work... Just keep the oil and timing belts changed when they are due and it will last ages.

and i agree with every one at 22 psi imidiatly falling to 16 on 93 pump gas mine made 303 and 335. and i did not have cams.

that car is gorgeos. It makes me miss by black eclipse . That might be the cleanest dsm i have ever seen. Well lets put it this way. I would only dd that on a very nice day and ride my bike on a rainy or snowy day .

Who cares why the power is low. That circumstance can be changed with wrenches, tools, parts, and money. If you can afford that car then you can probably afford to make it fast as well as doing your own maintenance. I'd DD it. I'd maintain it with logbooks and everything too.
