Hello fellow dsmers! So heres the story, driven down the highway and this civic next to me thought he we tough stuff, so after ignoring him for awhile i finally gave him a run. I dropped to forth and took off, obvisoulisy beating this fart canned civic. About a mile down the road i, lose power and car dies. I pull off to the side, and cranked it over once, and had no compression, so i pretty much knew right away i dropped my value train. My buddy picked me up with his car hauler,so no big deal. When i pulled the the head, every single value was bent, and bent bad. So i am currently building a 6 bolt to swap in, but as funds are low its not going to be down for awhile. Ok so now the question, do u guys think my 7-bolt motor would run for awhile being how bad the values hit the pistons. here are some pictures, give me your oppion and advice. thanks guys

I mean just throwing on a head, do u think it would be go for a little while till the 6-bolt is done?

Have you checked your timing belt, sounds like it jumped timing. Also do not drive the car till you swap in a new motor, you'll just end up causing more problems.

basicly those bends will create hot spots on your pistons, It will work I have seen people put it back together and drive for a while. But with it creating a hot spot there it will lessen your pistons life and be more pron to failure.

yea i jumped time...

grdsm - i have seen people people just throw heads on and run them, just to get by for awhile. but it seam that my dents/divots are bigger that normal.
