I have this bov that the guy before me put on. And i dont know what kind it is cause itdoes not look like anyother. Is a good one or bad help me out cause i want to go with 300hp but want to know if it cn hold it.

I have HKS but you can get em on classifieds on this site or ebay. if you get ebay the pipe ends dont have a lip most of the time so the clamps can slip causing a boost leak.

get the RRE UICP or might as well get an FMIC kit if you plannin on 300hp.

For the bov, ill hold up fine. If you want to make it harder and hold more boost, just unscrew the top part off, take out the spring and put some spacers in there, then put everything back.

ok u know stock the car has 210hp but only 160 at the wheels how much horse power do i have to get to have 300 at the wheels

again, to hit 300wheel on a dynojet(at least) you will need the following at the min;
-a turbo that flows more than 500cfm
-injectors that flow at least 510cc
-piggy back tuning device(maf-t, s-afc, dsmlink, etc)
-afpr
-decent tuning abilities:D
-higher flowing exhaust
-boost controller(manual)

LOL i am sorry guys i didnt read it LOL. well what i was trying to say was do i need to do that path thing if i want 300whp.

yes, that path is proven to work time and time again. your horsepower goal just determines how far down the path you "walk".

WTF

210 hp at the flywheel on a front drive equals to 18-25% power loss, its 25-35% on an awd. This varies with Wheels, brake, tires. etc.

25%-35%? That seems really high to me. If drivetrain loss was lets say 30%, right in the middle of that range, then stock 2g's should dyno 147-ish awhp, stock Evo's should dyno 195-ish awhp. Those numbers just seem too low to me.

Those people probably don't know that TurboXS bov's leak. You can go for a used bov from a 1g which is the cheapest and is of decent quality. I personally use Greddy RS which has suited me for the past 2 years.

gst's and gsx's/evos have difrrent drivetraine losses, gst only have to move 2 wheels, while the others move 4. so yes drivetraine loss for gsx's/evos is around 22-25% and gst are at 15%. usally.
