Ok so after testing my alternator and getting a new battery my car is still dead and im taking an educated guess and saying the A/F gauge i installed this winter is drawing power, i have it tapped into the cigarette lighter right now. is that drawing my power? If so do i need to tap it all into the ECU or can i find another place to tap it into? or could i have just gotten a bad battery? because the new one worked for about 3 days than just stopped

disconnect it to see if it helps.

Also check your radio antenna. On my old car I couldnt figure out why my battery would die every night. Turns out the motor was broke on it or something and was still trying to lower the antenna all night.

Is your cig lighter powered after ign is off? Normally its not powered when the car is off. If your gauge is being powered, id imagine that you should be able to see it lit up after turning off the ignition.
