Hi i have a 2gb gst and have all bolt on mods including dsmlink. Im going to be converting the car to a 3'' gm maf blow threw setup. Im running dsmlink and my main question is do you still need the maft ? It hasnt really been stated in any threads i could find in here. Any help is appreicated. Thanks

I believe you do need some sort of airflow reader.

This has been covered plenty of times.

The answer is yes. It is needed to translate the GM signal into something our ECU's can read. You will not need to touch the MAF-T though as you'll be using DSMlink to tune and control your fuel.

alright thanks for the help. maf sensors here so i just need to order the maft and ill be good to go. Now i need better traction control spinning first and second isnt much fun.

Just wait til dsmlink v3 comes out and you wont have to buy the translater, just give it some time
