has anyone ever done a 5 speed to auto swap?????????????
my brother just bought a wrecked auto with 50000 miles (a 99 gsx) but the only shell we can find is a 5-speed....................
any help would be appreciated

So you wanna auto swap the shell?

Either way, lots of people have done auto to 5 speed swaps and vise versa, no big deal.

i want to take the wrecked car apart and buind up the 5 speed shell , but only make it auto instead

can i just leave the clutch stuff in in case he ever learns how to drive 5 spd?

Yep its asked once a week at least but thats ok.

If you can pull a motor and trans and rip apart the dash/peddle assembly, its a walk in the park.

why does everyone in here have to be such an a** hole?

silverbullit sine u r such a genious, u tell me where to find it, since i searched first and all that comes up is auto to 5 swap, when im trying to go 5 speed to auto:beatentodeath:
