Hi, This is going to be my 3rd DSM. I've owned one 1g GSX and one 2g GSX. Well I am picking up a Galant Vr-4 and turns out that one of the pistons and cylinder head needs to be replaced. well considering that, I would like to know what I could do to make this a 350 AWHP car. Just as internal wise, like What pistons I should upgrade with since one is messed up. cams (264/272?) things like this. Thanks for the help

I find it hard to believe that there isn't enough info already on this site for you to search through.

If your aim is 350 whp, then I'd reuse the rods you have and machine them for 2g pistons. Throw a set of those in the car and call it a day.

For cams, I would go with Forced Performance.

a stock motor will handle 350 wheel . invest in dsmlink, so you can tune to 350 safely.

ok thanks, also something that blows my mind, is I know the 6 bolt swap into a 2g, can a 2g motor be swapped in a Gvr4? because my 2g GSX motor is still in my driveway ahaha.

Anyone know where to order a new 6 bolt from? or a good used one? thanks

Try a JDM engine. I have bought 2 of them for 2 different cars and they hold up better for me.

How much did you buy yours for?Also I dont think the cylcone Intake Manifold will pass in CA
