small 16g questions

Here's a list of mods I have thought about getting together but don't know if they will work.

jdm cyclone motor
ported small 16g turbo
3" turbo back exhaust
2g ported exhaust manifold
o2 sensor dump housing
better air intake
boost controller set at 16psi
190lph

I was wondering if I could run this setup with stock injectors and no fuel tuning computer. If anybody knows if i would have to or not let me know. Thanks for your help!

you should really invest in bigger injectors so you dont run into fuel cut. to deal with tuning it can be argued you dont NEED something but it would be in your best interest to get something cheap, like a maft or maybe a used safc etc.

I think that you will be running pretty lean at 16 psi with 450s, why not just some 550s?

So I wouldn't run into any problems if I just put some 550s in it. Would I have any drivability issues or anything?

You wouldnt be able to boost more than the 16psi, and you will needs something to tune them with. Either a Maf-t or SAFC-II.

I'd stick to around 15 psi on the stock injectors.

If you switch to 550's, you'll need an AFC so that you won't run so rich, so that you can turn up the boost a little, and so that you don't hit fuel cut.

Does the motor in your car run fine? i say dont get the jdm engine and the money u save there...put it into your setup b/c in that way you can bump up to a Big evo316g and some bigger injectors and even DSMlink just my .02 though
