my bad...
ok i posted here before and they said it as the turbo
it smokes real heavy on start up out the exhaust and smells like oil
theres oil all inside my downpipe and on the o2 housing
maybe the seals bad
but the car other than the smoke runs normal turbo spools fine and all
could it be the seal or one of the oil lines to the turbo is bad....

i had a little oil leak from the oil return line where it bolts up to the pan so i took it off and put it back on with rtv....no leaks i drov it fine but then the next time i started it up the smoke came and it whent away after a few miles but then sumtimes smoked while driving

sounds like every one was right! if theres oil in all you pipes then your turbo seals are SHOT. have you checked for shaft play? when you turbo spools and you hit boost your oil pressure raises and blows thru you turbo seals causing it to smoke and coat you tubing with oil.. I would take care if it though befor something breaks and cause's you to do more work in the end.

so my turbo is gone right ,......i unbolted the exhaust manifold from the turbo and it doesnt smoke but as soon as i bolt it up again it smokes like crazy

sounds like the turbo at least needs a rebuild! any in and out play is bad. thats why your smoking. the oil is pushing thru the seals and into your exhaust causing the smoke.

Doesn't take 20people to post in this thread for u to figure out your turbo went out.
my did the same thing, had Shaftplay, intercooler pipes had oil, dp had oil, cold side of the turbo had oil, even the intake had oil.
so at this moment is getting rebuild at precision.
