Turbo install on non-turbo

Hey guys i have a 1992 plymouth laser rs N/T and i was hearing that i could put a turbo on it if i run LOW psi like 8. So i was looking around and found this. What else would i need to install the turbo on my car.TURBO KIT FOR Talon/eclipse/?

it depends.. single cam or dual cam? yes, you can run the non turbo 4g63 with the 9:1 compression at 7, 10, and even 15 psi.. I did.. I couldnt afford another motor, so I bought the nt motor, swapped the cams, intake manifold, etc. from the other motor and BOOM.. I got a great running car.. only thing I had to do, was get the timing pulled.. The stock timing is too aggressive for 9:1 compression on 91 octane for anything past ~7psi.. I rewired my pump and chipped the ecu, and I could run ~13 psi all day with no knock..

Mine is somewhere around 10:1 and I run 15 daily on the factory computer timing and such. No knock unless I really bang a gear hard

That turbo manifold looks like it's for the 2g non turbo (420a engine'd) talon / eclipse. I don't think it would fit your car. You can however read this:

stock compression on the 1g NA 4g63 is 9:1.. Did you got with high comp pistons, then boost it?

nah....i had a head that was warped BAD....got it cut alot...hehe the sucker ran hard as hell, but its getting tired now... probably would have been a kickass E85 Motor. oh well..
