OK... so I finally started my car yesterday after putting new head gasket and valve seals etc.. The car started good and everything but was smoking really bad, I thought it was the turbo so I went ahead and replaced the turbo to, but after I turned the car back on with the other turbo the car kept smoking like crazy... I check and everything and there seems to be throwing lots of oil through the o2 housing and the wastegate (external wastegate mounts in the o2housing instead of the manifold). The smoking is from oil. I really dont know what it could be I also thought it might of been the head, but there was no oil spills of anything like that from the head or anywhere in the engine. Please help, need to solve problem ASAP.. Any help would really be appreciated. THANKS!!!

Need more info, what color is the smoke? Does the turbo have any shaftplay, did you put a brand new or a new used turbo in their? If it's oil, and you say nothing is coming from the head it sounds like the turbo has a blown oil seal.

The color of the smoke is like blue and white in between.. I now for sure its oil thats burning but I dont know why its going through the exhaust.. It leaking oil from the o2 housing and wastegate. The turbo does not have any shaftplay (neither of the turbos) and the turbo I have right now was on another dsm and did not have any problems (took of to upgrade on the other car) I kind of doubt that the turbo is bad since it was working perfectly in the other car and well how bad of luck can I have that two perfectly turbo are now bad. Do you have any other idea of what it could be.. I also thought that it might of been the oil return line since it was alittle crushed but now I replaced it and it still da same. Someone please help.. I ran out of ideas of what it could be...!!

Is there any in the exhaust manifold? If not, then it is obviously from the turbo. If it is a known good turbo, then its got to be the oil feed or return lines. Where is the oil feed coming from? If its straight from the oil pump housing, there's too much pressure. And the oil return is going stright into the oil pan, right? If there is a loop or anything, it will not drain - it drains via gravity (I'm sure you already know this, but gotta say it to get it out there).
