I hit boost and it seems to make boost until a certain point or rpm then it just seems like the car doesnt want to keep going and it just revs up. Once i let go of the throttle it will go back to normal.

Does the engine rev upwards quickly but the car does not accelerate? That is a clear sign of a slipping clutch. I've always tested it by getting to an on ramp and flooring it hard in third so I can watch/feel the entire rev band.

If the above is not what you're experiencing please elaborate on your problem. The description was poor.

when my clutch went a couple of weeks ago it would just slip a bit and then finally It went out of no were. I could sit while the car was running and move it in all the gears with out the car moving and no grinding.

Take your car down the road, granny shift the gears untill you get to 3rd or 4th gear. Make sure your RPM's are low like between 2000-2500 and put the gas peddle to the floor. If your RPMS rise and your speedo dosent your clutch is fried.

yea all you guys pretty much hit it i mean it does fine in liek 1-2 but 3-5 once i hit about 5000 rpms it just revs right up with no accleration.

thanks for all ## help anyone suggest a clutch?

what are your future power goals?

We carry the ACT stuff for DSMs, check here for our pricing.

For around 300hp I'd look into the ACT 2100 with street disc. Offers pedal pressure not much greater over stock with a decent amount of grabbing power!

Any questions or need price quotes shoot me a PM anytime
