I had to mod my waterpipe to clear my HX35 and in the process I plugged both water hoses coming off the thermostat housing. Now my car is running very hot. Should I loop these hoses together instead of pluging them?

Could be that, or did you change the manifold? The manifold and turbo could be hotter than the stock. Maybe some bigger fans?

Don't those outlets go to the oil filter housing? Can you just block all that off? I just got a 50 trim and i was thinking of ways to run the coolant lines from the thermo housing to the oil filter housing. I thought you had to have coolant running to the filter housing?
