I have a stock o2 housing and a 3" megan racing downpipe. I have been using a stock size 2 bolt gasket between the 2 because a 3" gasket is obviously to big. The stock size is too small and no matter how snug i make the downpipe, the gasket blows in a week or 2. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on what I could try.

take the gasket to a local autozone or something like that.. maybe even a smaller place.. we have one in town called global auto, and they specialize in imports... kinda like a import pep boy's... take the gasket, and try to match the size to something a lil thicker, and maybe a stronger material.. most stores like that will work with you to figure it out...

or just weld the SOB.. haha

autozone will help you out as far as getting a steel gasket for it. I had that same problem with my sentra and so I got 2 steel gaskets, jb welded them together with the high temp stuff and clamped it down tight while it was stil a little flexible soo that I could use the excess on the pipe itself. since then I have not had a problem.
