Is it possible to install a cruise control unit from a 1G auto GS to a 1G 5 spd GS? If so, what is needed and how would it be done? I can imagine that I would have to change the column switch out with the one from the auto that has cruise control switches. Would I have to mod my ECM to do this? Reason I ask is that I do a lot of highway driving, and after awhile my leg falls asleep...

Where are you located? I'm taking cruise out of my car. I'll trade you all my cruise control bits for your non cruse bits.

I dunno man, theres A TON of stuff involved. Theres the usual stuff under the hood which is easy enough, but what about the lever on the steering column, theres a brain box tucked wayyyy up under the dash, and not to mention any wiring that may not be there.. The switch on the pedal assembly.. etc.
