2G AWD Driver's Axle Question

I have a 95 TSi AWD and the Driver's side axle end mushroomed because I was unable to remove it from the hub. Everything on the axle is still good except the end where the axle nut threads on. I have a new axle, however I was sent the wrong one (Non-ABS).

I was wondering how hard it is to switch the outer piece from the new Non-ABS axle onto the bad correct ABS axle? Or can I somehow switch the ABS ring?

I would try and get who ever you ordered you axle from to fix their mistake and get you the right axle, instead of having to piece together an axle.
