I just got a brad new not even opend afc neo from a friend for free for doing some wrench work on his srt4. well the only thing i have done to my car is a 190 pump mbc set to 15psi and a 16g turbo with 2.5 turbo back.
I have a 255 pump and a 2g maf not installed.
If I install the afc what tuning options do I have I dont have a data logger or a a/f gauge. Does anyone know any safe settings to allow me to turn my boost up any more. would puting the 2g maf in do any thing for me. Im pretty broke right now wouldnt be able to get a a/f gauge for a while. just trying to find out what options I have

I think you could definately richen it up a bit to run more boost but how much i do not know being i have a turboed 420a and still playing with my afc as well. Just look around you should find an answer to your question

Im just looking at running 20psi safely thats pretty much my goal. I just need to know what I need to do to get there

im pretty shure there stock they were in there when I got the car.
Would the blue wire mod help at all can you tune with o2 voltage

You are going to need bigger injectors, at least 550s, at best some 660s. Then you can use the 255 pump and the neo

yeah thats next on my to do list but wont be for a while exhaust smells pretty rich even with the 16g

yea you do need a regulator. oh and just a thought for ya they do make a little housing for it so that way its not just in some place looking ugly. i think machv.com has it

not for the neo I looked a the housings and mesured my afc and there is no way they can fit a gauge and aneo either in the vents or below the stereo the neo is to big must be for the safcII

SBR has a bezel for the neo. You should have stock 450cc injectors. You wont be able to push more than the 16psi before you hit fuel cut

Ok I have a 90 tsi with a jdm 6bolt its water oil housing so its clearly not a 90 engine. the tach. doesnt work because I has a 90 ecu where do I hook up the rpm signal to from the afc

yea your right it is for the safcII they are making one for the neo tho not sure when it comes out tho. but as for your injectors i am not sure if the 2nd and 1st gen are the same but on mine is a 2nd gen and i have 450cc for the stock injectors
