i ran my sleeper 16 (20g wheel) on a stock 2g 7 bolt for a while until I spun a balance shaft bearing. lasted me 20k miles. Spun at 96k on the motor. I don't think the spun bearing had anything to do with the turbo. I ran stock boost, stock ecu.

Depends on how you're going to run it.

what do you mean by..''will i be able to''. you can put any turbo on any car if you really wante to. before you do though you will need the mods to support the airflow of that specific turbo.(i.e 16g,20g, gt35r,gt40r etc...)

i just bought an fmic and i will be putting that on before i get a new turbo. and i am going to be getting a boost gauge and boost controller before i get the turbo. but do i need anything besides an intake and exhaust and the things i have already got and getting before the turbo is bought, for it to be ok?

you can put it on right now. you'll need the "J" pipe because the compressor outlet opens up different then a t25 would.

You will not be in that turbo's efficiency range. It will be able to do a lot more with supporting mods. My t25 burned up, I just happened to be able to easily get my hands on that big one. I put it on. It worked. It was capable of much more.

fmic, mild cams, boost gauge, boost controller, afc, injectors, tuning tool, upgraded bov... the headgasket you'll eventually blow out--- yeah, those'll make it better/more fun

Here is what I suggest for a 20g.

Intake
Exhaust
720 injectors ( bare minimum )
DSMLink ( needed to control injectors ) AFC Will work with 650's but keep boost down
255 fuel pump rewired
Fuel pressure Regulator
FMIC
Wideband

272 cams to take full advantage of the turbo ( Optional )

Unless you have a good chunk of cash to invest into running a 20g, dont. Go this route.

16g
650 injectors
190 fp
SAFC
FMIC
Intake
Exhaust
logger
boost controller

Spend about $2000 and you are done, good mid 12 second car which is more then respectable.

I roast my tires on a 20g with AWD and drag radials so FWD will be spinning like mad unless you leave with very little throttle.

Your problem is, you dont have enough for that big of a turbo.. you would be better off with a 16g, and start modding from there...

Then you cannot go above stock boost. the larger td06 wheel already flows way more than the td05 at the same boost. Your fuel system needs to be modified for anything much more than stock boost even with other stock components such as cams intake and exhaust. So just keep it low and log. . .

As for the install. You'll need 14b/16g oil/waterlines. and A way to adapt the compressor outlet to your intercooler piping. . .

Speaking of intercooling, to do this turbo justice you really must run a much better intercooler. So this would be the time to upgrade the intercooler. If your going to put the money into a 20g and intercooler, you should atleast grab an safc and 650cc injectors and a fuel pump upgrade. . .
