Retune After I get FMIC

Will I need to retune my car after I get a FMIC kit or will it not lean my A/F ratio that much?

-Kyle

It shouldn't change your A/F ratio at all, although it will make running whatever tune you're running now even safer by cooling the intake charge better.

x2 With a FMIC you can effectively run more boost and/or timing safely on a given fuel due to a cool intake temp. You don't have to, but you will miss out on a lot of the benefits of having a FMIC.

You actually may retune the car in meaning of turning the boost up. Now with a FMIC you are much safer and if you crank the boost couple of pounds it will be relatively the same as before with a SMIC and fewer boost..
