I just started rebuilding my 4g63 and I have it on the stand. Just wondering how easy it should be to turn(with bare hands). I'm just being very particular of my first rebuild and while I have alot of experience with bolt on s and tuning cars and so on this is my 1st rebuild. Everything is in spec by the haynes manual and im a pretty mechanical person so im pretty sure everything was done right. Thx in advance

If the spark plugs are still in it should still be tough to turn, if the spark plugs are out or the head is off it should turn fairly easy.

There is no head on it and my problem is how easy is easy. i can turn it with a just a little force but should it like easly glide or what.

are you talking about with a ratchet. I just put in crank bolt and spun it and it moves like butter.ROFL I had been just turning it with my hand. For some reason I didn't think a ratchet would make such a big difference. I guess I need to go back to the gym.
