The car runs but under normal driving it feels like its holding back quite a bit ,but once you step on the gas its fine and runs really good till about 4 gear cause it starts to boost 16 and rising. 2nd 3rd hold 15 psi with no problems though.

maintenance first: plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, etc. If problem persist search or boost leaks, loose clamps, vacc. lines .TB gasket etc. Post Results.

As previously mentioned, change spark plugs and gap them, if that doesnt fix it do a boost leak,if that doesnt fix it change wires, if that doesnt fix it replace coils, filters, etc. If youre lucky it will be spark plugs.

spark plugs and wires are new maintence is all done. almost 1500 miles on rebuilt motor. but i can hear when the hood is up something that sounds like a hissing noise but never been able to pin point where its coming from.
