how do i reduce exaust noise

i have an eclipse 95 with a 2.5 costume exaust without cat and a flowmaster muffler and its making to much noise so i want to know how i can reduce it

Add a cat, cherry bomb, or some resonators.

If you live in a state like va where the cops are jerks and give tickets for crap like exhaust .Just get a 3" downpipe and or 2.5 whatever you want . And get a exhaust cutout and run the cat back stock exhaust and your set . That way your not as loud but when you want to be you can be
