is this a 2g or 1g thermostat?

Just like it says, I've recently purchased this 2g as all I've owned before was 1g's. I purchased a new thermostat from jnz and when I took my old one out it looks nothing like the one i got from jnz. The bad is I've threw away the box with the part # and can't find the dam receipt

I've attached some pictures, so could someone tell me if this is a 2g thermostat or a 1g, ya think after owning 2 1g's for 7 years I would be able to pick out a 1g thermostat, but no

Take it into a auto parts place and compare it.

I'm pretty sure it's a 1g as my old 2g therm has a rubber ring and does not require a gasket under the cover. Some dsm guru has to know .

Here is a picture of a 2g thermostat if it helps. The 1g thermostat has an offset to it.

It definately isn't a 2g thermostat. MIne looks nothing like that.

1g thermostat doesnt have those big braces on the side. Might be a weird brand.
