You all can laugh at me now I guess.

I knew my thermostat was bad since the temp guage would barley crawl past the first line then sit on the low end while driving and the heat wasnt warm.

So I went out to oreilly's and got a new thermostat and gasket get home (driving the volvo so the Talon doensnt have any heat)

I take the first bolt off the back side upper left on and go to take the other off and its unscrewing just like normal with no resistance and all of a sudden SNAP. it broke half the bolt in the Bottom peice of the housing. I created new cuss words and Karma is not with me right now.

So my question is just cover the hole were the thermostat goes with some tape and Drill out the piece thats left in there and re tap it?

Just go to the hardware store and buy a bolt extractor of an appropriate size. You just drill a hole into the bolt and turn the extractor in counter clockwise. Should come out, just be sure you use a proper sized extractor.

Drill and retap. You don't want to have to come back and fix it later. Do it right the first time.

Thats what I was thinking but needed a bit of reassurance to do it you know what I mean. Get that done and change the pads and Rotors tomorrow!

The rotor is what was causing my shake. balanced the tires then put the car on the lift put in 5th gear let it get to 55 shook like crazy and looked at the drivers side rotor and you could just see it going back and forth. Love hate relationship and i cant break it off LOL I have dumped girls for lesser things than this.

Warped rotors are whats causing that vibration you can get them turned if you want to or buy some new ones its totally up to you.

Yep put new ones on today fixed the thermostat (which made the car run better since its in operaton temp) and no shake anymore I just need to find some new front rotors the Seal on the piston is leaking a bit.
