So I need a cheap easy fix so I bought a set of halo headlights and altezza taillights for my eclipse conversion. I wont be wiring up the halo rings because I think they look tacky so I am removing the wires and putting plugs in the holes. Is there anything else I should do to make sure both the headlights and taillights wont leak? I was thinking of running super glue over cracks just to make sure I have no problems.

unless you are removing the clear lenses from the headlights you dont need anything to keep it from leaking. but if you just want to use something on them so you'll feel better use 100% silicone caulking. super glue wont work very well. clear weatherstripping caulking will work well as well.

you do need to drill a very small hole in the bottom of each headlight though if there's not one there already. use like an 1/8th inch drill bit. this will keep the headlights from fogging up inside the lenses from condensation. tailights would be the same principal if you want to do them too.

So I got my taillights in today and the back sides of them are pretty much fully open. I guess thats what happens when ya pay 80 bucks for taillights. So when I install them well see how they look.
