What all must be done to install a 1990 ECU into a 1992 ? Does it require sensor swaps for 1990 sensors or is it just as simple as 2 wires? Cause I'm confused please help with a direct answer.

vfaq has a wiring diagram of the plus on a 1g ecu and what the wries match to. it shows what has to be done to put a 90 ecu in a later car or vise-versa

Sorry about the three threads !!! That was an accedient i still have no idea why it posted like that. But i did write in them that the were acciedents as far as i konw you can not delete the others....

Yes i searched and all the answers were never for sure properly answered.

If you know of a vafq that tells you step by step instruction on how to put a 1990 ecu into a 1992 i would love to see that.

Do you have to swap sensors or is it just ecu pins 6 ,14?
