I have this BOV I was wondering if it is made by samco? like the silicone hose company. I wasn't sure. I looked it up it's 152$ i'm not sure where it came from though. And i couldn't find it on samco's site.

I also took these pictures of my MAF honeycombs. I think there is supposed to be a middle one? I need to know where to get some? I'm running horrible gas mileage because the car is running so rich. I've looked everywhere and cannot find them. Thanks

My FWD has has honeycombs in the center too like you thought, but I don't have the black box surrounding the center either? I think if you can't find it on the manufacturer's website that the BOV's probably just an older BOV. Looks a bit older style...?

:talon:

Yes it is the honeycomb s in the intake. Mine is FWD. i think it is a little older. the guy said he bough it to replace the stock plastic BOV back in 1998. but i still havent been able to find any info on it.

Correct me if Im wrong but I read something where someone modified there maf by taking the honeycombs out or a certain section of them out. I cant find where I found it or i would post a link. Has anyone else ever heard of that? This was like a long time ago when i found that.

I bought my gst almost a month ago and the MAF honey combs are in my glove compartment... I havent had a chance to find the MAF to check and see if the center honeycomb is still in there though...
i can tell you that i run pretty rich after about 3000 rpms, and when if i shift when i'm above about 3500 my exhaust will spit out a blue cloud of smoke... =/

If you cant find the MAF, you need to pick up a haynes manual ASAP ROFL..If your having trouble though, its in between the airfilter and the intake pipe. Running rich= black smoke, Blue smoke= burning oil.
