I currently have a A/T Eclipse GS-T with a 13g turbo. The car has been practically rebuilt, the engine is looking really nice... but what worries me is the Turbo. Is there anything I should do to the Turbo? Take it to a speed shop and have it checked? Clean it[somehow]? I need it to last quite a few months, maybe even a year. I plan on getting a big Evo 16G, but until I have the supporting mods and money, I'm sticking with the 13g. What should I do to make sure I have a happy life with the 13g?

Check for shaft play. I mean if it goes it goes. Just another reason to upgrade. I know you want it to last, but 14bs are direct replacement and can be had for very cheap. There are still some good ones around. :thumb:

i got a spare one in my basement with complete housing and manifold, it was gonna go on my n/t but i got myself a turbo car now with a 14b:D
