:notgood: Ok well I have been having this problem the since i fixed this oil leak and it has lead me to believe that my PCV is broken or something. While the car is idling its fine but once i drive it around and hit boost and pull over the hole top of the valve cover is coated with alot of oil. I also so i bought a new pcv today and i noticed that i can blow threw both sides. Im not sure how much pressure is needed to seal it off but i can do it wil ease. So after replacing it i figureded problem would be soleved. so i drove to work and behold. I pulled over and there was oil all over the valve cover agian. The only place it could be coming from is the oil cap.. which is new I ordered one for an evo today cause i was reading about the leaking oil caps. This only seems to happen while im under boost so. If anyone can help me with this problem here that would be great! Im just all out of ideas. I also went to autozone to see if theres would do the same thing and it also did so. I don't know what else it could be.WTF

First, do NOT run any PCV valve other then the one you buy at the dealer. The after market ones at Autozone, etc. are garbage. I found this out first hand.

Second, are you sure it looks like your oil cap or could your dipstick be popping up? Thats what mine did. Sounds like you have an excessive amount of crankcase pressure.

These things come to mind:

-bad pcv valve.
-bad turbo oil seals

Check your valve cover gaskit and oil cap gaskit its probably leaking all over the top of your valve cover.

If you can blow through both sides of the pcv its dead, take it back and get you money back or one that works.

I had the oil cap gasket leak since i could not find a new one i took the old one out and traced it to some cork gasket, which is sold in the gasket section at the parts store cut out a few copy and every so often i would switch them out about once a month.

Also note that you may wanna check your valve cover for leaks, they are only supposed to be torqued down to 4 ft lbs of torque. If you over tighten it the valve cover will crack and oil will get out.

Yeah im going back to mitsu today to get a oem pcv. The oil cap gasket is new. I don't think that is just from it leaking cause it covers the entire cover not just the area by the oil cap. The dip stick is not poped out just the all over the place.

If that were the case wouldn't the oil be coming out of the exhaust and blowing smoke? I tested the PCV i put on last night and i can blow through it wil no effort at all. Then i tried the factory one. I could blow through it yesterday but today. I couldn't so Im going to mitsu so i can buy another one and hope that stops the issue.
