a 6 bolt swap into a 95 rs?

I dont think this question has been ask yet, but could it be done? Swap a 6 bolt 4g engine into a rs cuase the 420 is reverse from the turbo motor in the 2g's. And iv heard the 1g and 2g the tranys and pullys are on the oppsite sides so would it work??? or jsut to much of a hassle?

i know iv read so much into this you have no idea. but what i am askign is that i have been told a 1g 4g63 engine is oppiste of a 2g 4g63. you follow me so far? so if a 2g 42oa's mounts are backwards form a 2g 4g63 so does that make the mounts about the same for a 1g 4g63?? or not that is my question

You can swap a 1g 4G63 directly into a 2g without modifying anything more than a motor mount.

I'm not sure what you mean by the 1g and 2g 4G63's are opposite. They're the same motor.

I think he thought that the 1g was similar in fashion of a 2g rs. NO. Its not. Keep 1g and 2g turbo stuff separate from 1g and 2g NT stuff and you'll have some luck with these cars.

EVO3 motor is about the closest you will get to an easy drop in. Don't bother with it.
