wtf 3g mas?...help!

so i ordered what i thought was a 2g mas from someone off this site in the classifieds and they listed it as that as well....turns out i get it and the end that is supposed to fit into my injen intake that came off a 2g that i bought for my 1g is different...the sensor has a 3 inch end on it not a ovalish one like the 2g...i looked up the #501 that was on the sticker on it and found out that it was a 3g mas....so now i don't know what to do since it wont fit up with my intake...it also came with a harness and wires....what should i do? Is this a better sensor? Is anyone willing to trade for a actual 2g mas with plug?

3g Mafs flow higher than a 2g maf. The thing is most people dont ever out flow a 2g maf and if they do they aways go to either speed density or MAFT. IMO the 3g/evo maf is like a 18G. Its almost always skipped but some people still use them and it gets the job done.
