Up and Coming 20g Plans

I have recently decided to change my setup, and just go bigger and better. Right now i am running an Evo gt (cheap ebay turbo) and i have the chance to get a 20g turbo and external wastegate for 500 bucks. I am in need of an external wastegate because i cannot hold boost period with my 16g. I will be running 550s and a 190 pump with an SAFC while i have the 20g. Does my new setup plan sound fine until i have the money to upgrade to DSM link and 1000cc injectors? Thanks for the input guys, i just want to make sure i dont do anything stupid.

Keep in mind i will be running low boost with the 20g. Also the wastegate is a turbonetics deltagate mark II, is this a decent wastegate? It is already welded on to a 2g manifold, and i have heard alot of mixed reviews after searching.

If you really want to update and go big, why not go with a bigger fuel setup. Your going to want it sooner or later anyway.

That set-up should be fine for low boost. But definitely need some bigger injectors, DSMLink, and a bigger fuel pump at sometime to really take advantage of the 20G's potential.

I agree with Tj, that setup will work with low boost but you will want to upgrade ## fuel and go with dsm link later on for sure. Let me know how everything works out, I am currently running a 16g and might possibly upgrade later. good luck!

Thanks guys. Im excited to get my new turbo, one of the main reasons im upgrading is because my e316g is from ebay, and its running fine but i just feel like its going to die any day. But i will tell you how it goes sewey, i will hopefully get it installed within the next week and tune myself for around 15 psi, and then when dsm link comes im hoping to make close to 350whp.

Yeah, it looks genuine and probably a whole lot better in quality than your evo ebay turbo. Oh and by the way, its legitimate. It isn't "lagit"

i would gio with a tial gate, parts are found a lot easier and probb cheaper not a bad turbo

I wish it was a tial gate that it came with, but ill just run the turbonetics one until i can switch over to a tial 38mm probably. Tial ftw
